Nelson Doutres

Nelson’s webfolio is among the easiest and fastest done website this year, in about 5 hours of development, mainly because he’s one of the few students to have mastered dreamweaver integration in no time. He wanted to put the emphasis on something extremely straightforward while still sufficiently hierarchised to classify his works, that’s where the Webfolio tool comes in!

Le webfolio de Nelson est parmi les plus simples et rapides à faire cette année, en à peu près 5 heures de développement, principalement parce qu’il fait partie du peu d’étudiants à avoir maîtrisé l’intégration avec Dreamweaver en un temps record. Le but ici était d’obtenir un site hyper simple bien que suffisamment hiérarchisé pour lui permettre de classer son travail en catégories tout en le mettant à jour facilement. C’est là que l’outil Webfolio intervient !

Roxane Lumeret

Le webfolio de Roxane lui permet de choisir deux types d’affichages : un mode galerie standard avec directement les grandes images, un autre mode de galerie avec sous-niveau, présentant d’abord les vignettes de projets, puis les grandes images de chaque projet correspondant à une vignette. 

Roxane’s webfolio’s been enhanced to enable her to choose between two gallery display modes : the first one with directly large images, the second with a grid of thumbnails standing for projects also with large images.

Caroline est une illustratrice diplômée de l’ESADS (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg). Marie-Anne Baccichet

Marie-Anne Baccichet est diplômée en Objet de l’ESADS (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg). Le site a été réalisé en rendez-vous de suivi de projet à l’Atelier Numérique. Son premier site a fonctionné avec l’outil Webfolio, mais n’a peu ou pas été mis à jour. Il a ensuite été remplacé par un WordPress qu’elle a réalisé elle-même.

Marie-Anne Baccichet graduated from the “Object” department at the ESADS (Superior Decorative Art School of Strasbourg). The website was done in project appointments at the Atelier Numerique (Digital Lab). Her first website was powered by Webfolio, but was not ever really updated. It was then replaced by a WordPress she made on her own.

Raphaël Bucher

Raphael Bucher est diplômé de Communication Graphique à l’ESADS (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg). Le site a été réalisé en rendez-vous de suivi de projet à l’Atelier Numérique en 2009-2010. Raphael voulait expérimenter et prit le parti d’une présentation plus créative qu’un portfolio standard. Le site s’affiche premièrement avec l’élement graphique en haut à gauche, qui fait apparaître la navigation sur la droite sous la forme d’un bloc-liste des projets. Un clic sur un projet fait apparaître un espace collé en bas de l’écran avec les détails et les medias du projet, avec un déplacement horizontal. Un premier projet intéressant, mais que nous n’avons pas ensuite trouvé le temps de faire évoluer afin de vraiment l’optimiser pour le support web et notamment corriger quelques bugs. Le site est aujourd’hui offline. Les rendez-vous de suivi de projet ont servi à valider l’avancée de la réalisation et j’ai pris en charge le développement web, en essayant d’adapter l’outil Webfolio aux besoins de Raphael.

Raphael Bucher graduated from Graphic Communication at the ESADS (Superior Decorative Art School of Strasbourg). The website was done in project appointments at the Atelier Numerique (Digital Lab) in 2009-2010. Raphael came to me with a creative mind and experimented an unusual look for a portfolio. As you enter the website, the index page is empty, except for a graphic element on the upper left corner. Clicking it brings forth a list of projects, floating to the upper right corner of the browser window. Choosing a project divides the screen vertically and brings forth a panel at the bottom containing the selected project’s details and gallery, with a horizontal scroll. This first project was very promising, but we unfortunately were not able to find more time to bring it to completion, as it would have been necessary to fix a few bugs and really optimize it for the webpage, and thus, the website is now offline. Project appointments served as technical validation and I took care of the web development, trying to adapt the Webfolio CMS to Raphael’s requests.

Robin Godde

Robin Godde est diplômé en Objet de l’ESADS (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg). Le site a été réalisé en rendez-vous de suivi de projet à l’Atelier Numérique. Ce site, qui fonctionne avec l’outil Webfolio, est probablement le projet sur lequel j’ai le plus personnalisé les galeries générées en php et javascript de Webfolio. Les nombreux rendez-vous de suivi de projet ont servi à définir précisément le comportement (la règle du jeu) de chaque page et à les développer petit à petit pour arriver au résultat final souhaité. Ce projet fut donc intéressant avant tout par son caractère expérimental, et également en ce qui me concerne par le challenge qu’il représentait à utiliser un CMS fait main pour coller à des besoins très spécifiques déterminés au fur et à mesureavec Robin. Certains moments m’ont fait penser aux résidences de créations artistiques du CICV dans l’échange avec Robin.

Robin Godde graduated from the “Object” department at the ESADS (Superior Decorative Art School of Strasbourg). The website was done in project appointments at the Atelier Numerique (Digital Lab). This website, powered by Webfolio, is certainly the project on which the most time was devoted to customizing the php-javascript-generated Webfolio galleries. The numerous webproject appointments served to precisely define the behavior (the rule of the game) of each page and to gradually develop them towards the desired final product. This very experimental project was also interesting because of the challenge it gave me to tweak Webfolio CMS to really suit very specific requests, that were determined by Robin and I as we went along in the development. It also reminded me more than once of the artistic creation residencies at the CICV.
