Dean White is according to me one of the best coloring artists in comics today. He truly is a master of color, and his comics stand apart from the others.

A new "in progress" section at the bottom of the illustration page, with 10 illustrations in progress  - some for quite awhile since they were started in 2005 or 2006! I like taking my time. It's a good way for myself to keep track of unfinished work. For that matter, it's actually more fun than work, I'm just doing it for fun, I'm an amateur who does this on his spare time. And by putting it out there, it serves as a reminder of things I have to do, in other terms putting pressure on myself to get them done and move on to new illustrations.

Un nouveau bloc "en cours" au bas de la page des illustrations, avec 10 illustrations en cours - dont quelques unes sont en cours depuis carrément un bout de temps, certaines ont été commencées en 2005 ou 2006 ! J'aime prendre mon temps. Juste le fait que ces illustrations soient mises sur internet devrait me mettre la pression pour finir le travail. D'ailleurs, c'est plus du fun que du travail, je fais juste ces illus parce que j'aime ça, tel un amateur qui a un hobby sur son temps libre. Un bon coup de pression, ca devrait me faire avancer, non ?

In January, Ultimate Comics Spider-Man turns into the former Ultimate Spider-Man comics, which makes it its giant-for-the-occasion 150th anniversary issue.
Among the numerous artists in the second special feature: a double page by John Romita Sr & Al Milgrom, and the recreation below of the first meeting between Spidey & the FF in Amazing Spider-Man #1, dated March 63, by the great Dave Gibbons.

En janvier, Ultimate Spider-Man revient à sa numérotation précédente et tient compte du précédent volume Ultimate du tisseur.
Le numéro 150 est un épisode géant avec un deuxième partie signée de nombreux auteurs. Parmi eux, une double page de John Romita Sr et Al Milgrom, et cette autre double page ci-dessous de l'illustrissime Dave Gibbons reprenant la première rencontre de Spider-Man avec les FF dans Amazing Spider-Man #1, en mars 1963.
